How to Play:
- Gameplan: This comp is not great unless you have +1 Space Groove for Riven. Riven synergizes incredibly well with Space Groove’s healing and stacking AD/AP as she will always be in the Groove due to the small mana pool. Many augments offer access to spats or emblems so finding +1 Space Groove is realistic.
- Stage 1-2: Play your strongest Space Groove opener. Gwen + Talon is a great opener, specially if you have Space Groove +1 for Talon. If you don’t have an emblem yet don’t commit to this line yet.
- Stage 3: Continue picking up Space Groove units, if you find a spat on 3-2 you can commit, other wise look to play something else.
- Stage 4: Roll aggressively on 4-2 for Riven 2, Nami 2 and a 2 star front liner. If you find Blitz on 8 you are very likely to be in a good spot, if you don’t play Nasus in his place. You can play 7 Space Groove for a bit during this stage before you find legendaries but Teemo and Nasus should not be on the final board.
- Stage 5+: Level to 9 when possible and drop low quality Space Groove units. Prioritize Blitz > Shen > Morgana.
- Tips:
- If you don’t have a Space Groove +1, play something else, this comp does not function with out it. Space Groove variants without emblem are too awkward and require playing weak units.
- 5 Space Groove is the most important trait break point as it provides units AP/AD per second spent in the Groove.
- Nunu, TK or Rammus can all be main tanked but ideally it’s Nunu with multiple Vows to CC the enemy board.
- Don’t build Healing on Riven if you have Space Groove +1 as it already provides ample healing. Prioritize CC immunity and survivability.
