How to Play:
- Gameplan: Look to play this primarily off Dark Star Emblem. This comp loves emblems and has multiple variants. There are 3 main Dark Star Emblem lines being Riven, Asol and Xayah. You will often decide which is best to play based on other emblems you might have or whatever you slam in the early game.
- Stage 1-2: Play around a trait augment such as Trait tree and look to play 4 Dark Star as soon as possible due to its high stats. Slam Riven, Asol or Xayah items on a carry and try to be strong around extra stats provided by emblem augments.
- Stage 3: Continue being strong by adding Dark Star units and whatever front line you’ve upgraded. Be flexible and play around hanging traits.
- Stage 4: Level to 8 on 4-2 and look to spike around 6 Dark Star and 2 star 4 cost. All variants are very stable on level 8.
- Stage 5+: Level to 9 when possible. Jhin is the highest cap and should be played as soon as possible.
- Tips:
- Dark Star already gives a high amount of AD/AP so pair the emblem with items that provide different stats. Riven wants items that provide survivability such as Sterak’s and HoJ, while Xayah wants attack speed. Asol wants crit and damage amp from items like Jeweled Gauntlet and Striker’s. Avoid building items that give raw stats playing this line and prioritize other multipliers from the items you build.
- 6 Dark Star is playable without an emblem but you need to have guaranteed access to Jhin. If you have something like Aura Farming Jhin, consider this line heavily.
- Avoid scaling items in this line as you already have so much up front value from Dark Star AD and AP.
