Conditions:
- AP or AS generating Arbiter
- Guinsoo’s LeBlanc
- 2 Sets of carry items
- Lots of flexibility in what to play in the frontline
How to Play:
- Gameplan: This comp can be played from almost any spot, win or loss streak, as long as you have Guinsoo’s for LeBlanc and a second set of carry items. Ideally, you have an offensive Arbiter that allows LeBlanc to scale into the fight, but it is not fully necessary if you can reach her BIS. There are a lot of variants to this comp, the 5 Shepherd + Morgana version is the simplest to stabilize around, but is by no means max cap.
- Stage 1-2: Play your strongest opener, ideally around a Guinsoo’s slam. If you don’t have a strong opener, prioritize taking an econ augment and playing Primordians or Timebreakers for econ.
- Stage 3: Continue to play into your streak in either direction and collect LeBlanc and Karma core items.
- Stage 4: Level on 4-2 for LeBlanc and Karma, focus on making 3 LeBlanc items if you have Guinsoo first. If you don’t have Guinsoo, it is recommended to try to play around a different carry unless you have a specifically a AS generating Arbiter.
- Stage 5+: Level to 9 when possible and cap around legendaries. The board shown above is not max cap, but will be stable for early stage 5.
- Tips:
- Picking the correct Arbiter is very skill-testing for this comp. Try to plan out your items to complement what you pick. For example, if you have an Archangel built, AS Arbiters will be better than AP Arbiters.
- If you have Combat Start AP arbiter, always play 3 Arbiter and even consider secondary carrying Zoe for stage 4 and early 5. This can be dropped later for better units, but provides approximately a Rabadon’s worth of AP on Zoe, LB and Leona. 3 Arbiter will often be overkill, but if you need the raw stats on LeBlanc, consider playing Zoe.
- Karma can’t primary carry; they do a lot of AoE damage but struggle to finish off targets on their own. Prioritize LeBlanc’s items first.
- Nami 2 can take the place of Karma 1, but the synergies can be somewhat awkward, as Nami really wants Replicator active, meaning you are forced to keep Lissandra on your board long term.
- The core traits to the board are 3 Shepherd with LB + Karma/Nami + 2 Arbiter. Your front line can be 5 costs or Mecha if necessary, but these options are often more expensive and specific than 4 Vanguard or Morgana.
- Your tank itemization will dictate what version of the comp you play. Morgana needs pure tank items that provide HP, ideally % HP, as it synergizes incredibly with her spell. Think of items like Warmogs, Spirit Visage, Bramble Vest, Dragon’s Claw. Avoid items that only provide Armor MR and flat health, such as Gargoyles, if possible. Abuse the HP and AP ratio on the spell as much as possible. Damage Reduction combos excellently with her huge HP pool. Play around Nunu if you have mana generating tank items such as Vow and Adaptive.
- In any variant, if you reach level 10 for Rhaast, you will have a great shot at winning the lobby.
- If you have a Shepherd Emblem, it is worth playing into, especially if you can fast 9. The 3 Star Shepherd summon is very well-statted and will stabilize your board for early stage 5. It is by no means max cap, but it is a great stabilization option.
- Max cap ideally sells LeBlanc for Vex and plays Sona, Bard, and Blitz 2.
- This comp absolutely loves emblems as it has a lot of hanging traits. You don’t have to commit to 6 Vanguard or 7 Shepherds, and you can use the emblems as +1 team slots later on. Ex: Playing 3-5 Shepherd after dropping Leblanc for Vex
