How to Play:
- Gameplan: Pyke’s hero augment grants him a passive that gives you a 10% chance to farm a gold on any kill, meaning your early game needs to be strong. This comp becomes a lot better with Target-Lock Optics as its Pyke’s best item. Pyke Targets the lower HP target in a 2 Hex so always be on weakside frontline to farm maximum gold.
- Stage 1-2: Pyke is incredibly strong stage 2 and it should be easy to get multiple kills and start farming gold. If you happen to have IE Slam getting multiple resets is possible. The stronger you are the richer and easier the rest of the game will be.
- Stage 3: Level to 6 on 3-2 and roll aggressively to be strong. Pyke’s chances of dropping gold on kill go up by star level so hitting Pyke 2 here is key. After Pyke 2 you can level to 7 so you can roll for Viktor 3, Yi and 4 Psionic.
- Stage 4: Continue to roll for Pyke 3, Gragas 3 and Viktor 3 on level 7. Most 2 cost reroll comps stay on 6, but finding 4 Psionic on stage 4 is a lot of tempo.
- Stage 5+: Level for supporting units after finding your 3 stars. Bruisers are really efficient if you have Biomatter Preserver on Gragas 3.
- Tips:
- Pyke’s hero augment grants him a passive that gives you a 10% chance to farm a gold on any kill, increased to up to 100% if Pyke is 3 starred and gets the last hit. Position on enemy weakside every fight to farm as much money as possible. This is very important early game to build an econ advantage.
- Most 2 cost reroll comps stay on 7 but there is too much tempo to be found in 4 Psionic so going 7 for a Copy of Yi is key to a good stage 4.
- You can check your Psionic item in your team planner if you are offered this augment on 2-1. Don’t play this if your Psionic is not good.
