Set 8 is Spatulopolis which features the arrival of custom and reworked traits.
There will be an entirely new champion roster, and they are adding a champion never before seen in TFT… RAMMUS.
They also revealed 35 OF THE CHAMPIONS, THIS IS THE MOST EVER THEY HAVE REVEALED BEFORE THE ACTUAL RELEASE. There are around ~60 champions each set, so they have revealed more than half of them.
Augments are also here to stay… but we have Hero and Villain augments as well!
Lastly, there are some traits that are teased, but not much information yet

Augments
There will be two Augments for each champion. One Villain, one Hero. We can only assume they will have opposite effects. The only champion where we know both Augments is for Annie

It seems like the first one, Too Hot to Handle buffs Annie in a big way, making it similar to the I’m assuming Hero Augments that were teased in the video from Zac and Rammus.
The second Augment, Burning Spirit, buffs her allies. Is this the Villain one?
What we can conclude is that maybe one buffs the team, one buffs the champion, which would make sense.
Also, these Augments (champion augments) are only offered once per game and at the same time as all other players
Traits
Threat – No other traits for these units, and it doesn’t do anything, but the units are stronger
Star Guardian – Generates mana
Mech – Not sure
Anima Squad – Stacking mechanic
Underground – Heist: get 1 stack per win and 2 per loss, upon 7 stacks, you can choose to get a reward or defer it for a bigger one later
Ox Force – Probably some revive mechanic and then dead (maybe like Renata ultimate from League?)
Admin – Choose your own effects. There are 7 causes and effects
